High Performance Cellular Glass is a kind of new inorganic insulation material with glass as the main raw material, mixed with appropriate amount of foaming agent, foamed by high temperature tunnel kiln, and then processed by annealing and cooling treatment. It has uniform independent closed pore structure.
It completely retains the chemical stability of inorganic glass, has low density, low thermal conductivity, no moisture permeability, no water absorption, no combustion, no mildew, no rat biting, high mechanical strength. It contains no ozone depleting propellants, flame resistant additives or binders, without VOC or other volatile substances.
It can be applied for pipe and equipment insulation, as well as tank bottom support and thermal isolation.

foam glass is a porous glass foam material. Its advantages as a building material include its light weight, high strength, and thermal and acoustic insulating properties. It is made by heating a mixture of crushed or granulated glass and a blowing agent such as carbon or limestone. Near the melting point of the glass, the blowing agent releases a gas, producing a foaming effect in the glass. After cooling the mixture hardens into a rigid material with gas-filled closed-cell pores comprising a large portion of its volume.
